We can't wait to see you at Apple Festival 2022, our first in-person festival since 2019.
Event Dates: Saturday October 15 & Sunday October 16, 2022 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
To make sure we deliver a great experience, we are limiting ticket sales and only selling tickets online. Buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Ticket prices will go up on Monday, September 26th at noon. Tasting tent tickets are limited capacity and timed entry, allowing for the greatest variety of apples for tasting.
Tickets are required for all guests 8 years old and up. Children 7 and under are free and do not need admission or tasting tent tickets with a paying adult. All children under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian over 18 years of age.
Instructions for buying tickets:
1) Select which day you'd like to attend
2) Select your festival entry time (you can enter the festival grounds at any time during this hour) *
3) Select if you'd like to add on the Apple Tasting Tent (extremely limited quantities available) - Tasting time slots start promptly at the time indicated on your ticket. Please arrive 10 minutes early to avoid delays in processing your ticket for entry.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION You will need to present your order confirmation and number. Order confirmations may be presented digitally on a mobile device or printed on paper. For sustainability reasons, we encourage digital tickets. You will not receive an additional e-mail or document for tickets.
Do I need to pay admission to buy apples?
Yes, to access the apple buying area of the Apple Festival you need to pay admission and enter the festival grounds. Once you've selected your apples, there are so many other things you can enjoy, like our main stage, children's area, food vendor market and displays.
Do I need to buy tickets for children up to age 7?
No, you do not need to buy tickets for children up to age 7. This is true for admission and for the tasting tent. Children aged 8 and up need admission tickets and (optional) tasting tent tickets.
What happens if the event is cancelled? Can I get a refund?
If Apple Festival is cancelled, you will be contacted at the email address that you used to purchase tickets, and the value of your ticket purchase will be converted to a gift card that can be used at UBC Botanical Garden for admission products and/or in our retail store, The Shop in the Garden. Note: The Garden may be closed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Please check our website for any last minute updates.
What is your refund or change policy if my circumstances change?
The UBC Apple Festival is a fundraiser for UBC Botanical Garden and run by volunteers. We do not have the capacity to change tickets for different days or refund tickets. If the Festival is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, ticket holders will receive a gift card for the value of their tickets.
How do I contact you if I have questions?
If you require assistance or have additional questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 604-690-3895. Someone will contact you within the business hours of 10 am - 4 pm.
If you have any feedback regarding the ticketing system, please contact us at email@example.com.
Why does the option I want say unavailable or sold out?
If an option says sold out, then we are sold out of that particular arrangement of tickets with your festival entry time and tasting tent add-on option. Try selecting a different festival entry time and tasting tent ticket combination. If it says unavailable, the options you've selected does not exist (for example, selecting 11:30 am for the tasting tent when you have a 1 pm festival entry ticket).
Can I bring my dog?
UBC Botanical Garden is a pet-free zone. Please leave all pets at home. Service animals are welcome.
