About the Guides:
Bev Ramey is a long-time naturalist; her career was a park planner. Bev has enjoyed two decades of ‘birding’ and also delights in plants. She organized naturalist groups to survey birds in remote BC Provincial Parks during the five years of BC’s Breeding Bird Atlassing. Together with Bill, they lead monthly bird surveys for Nature Vancouver at UBC Botanical Garden and at the UBC Farm.

Bill Ramey, retired microbiologist, has been birding and participating in bird surveys for over ten years. He enjoys bird photography. In recent years Bill has chosen to use a spotting scope for better viewing of birds, as well as the Merlin bird app to associate bird sounds with specific birds.

Important Notes: This walk will take place outdoors and will proceed rain or shine. Please dress for the weather including footwear for all terrains. Please bring bionoculars if you have them.
