Description: Join the members of the AMS Asian Brush Calligraphy for a Lunar New Year calligraphy workshop! Our club members will guide you through the art of calligraphy. In a festive setting, you will create Lunar New Year calligraphy works using traditional brushes and ink (all materials will be provided)! Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere and embrace creativity, culture, and good fortune at our calligraphy workshop.
Age limit: Participants must be 5+ years old. Children under 12 mustbe accompanied by one parent or guardian, only one ticket required.
Date and Time: January 25th & 26th, 2025 11:00AM – 12:30PM & 2:00PM – 3:30PM
Important Notes: It's advisable to avoid wearing your favourite clothes, as calligraphy ink can be challenging to wash off.
Cancellation Policies: UBC Botanical Garden's Lunar New Year Market is a not-for-profit event. We do not have the capacity to change tickets for a different day or refund tickets. If the market is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, ticket holders will receive a gift card for the value of their tickets that can be redeemed for UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden admission and in The Shop in the Garden
