A species of flowering tree native to China and Japan. Known as the "Katsura" or "Caramel" tree for the sweet caramel scent during leaf fall. Gorgeous bronze tinged heart shaped leaves turn bright yellow and orange in the fall. Hardy in the pacific northwest. Needs regular watering first few years to establish good root system.
