This lovely shrub rose, commonly called 'China Rose' is considered a hybrid of rosa gigantea and rosa chinensis and formerly called "mutabilis'. Slightly fragrant single flowers open buff yellow changing to copper-pink before turning crimson and blooms from summer to fall. Award of Merit RHS. Grows 3 to 6 feet tall at maturity.
