Northwest native found both sides of the Cascade Mountains. Classy strap-like leaves with delicate flowers rising above. Blooms range in colour from white to yellow to purple and reddish and combinations of all or one. Different species that grow together in the same habitat often cross pollinate which provide a wide variation of colour combinations in this palate. Grows in sun to partial shade with a preference to moist well drained soil.
